You might have discovered that the key I refered to before is also associated with an email, yes, but that email is not for communication.
I sometimes use that when convenience like submitting a bug report for foss project, but not in personal communication now. You can think of that as a dedicated email for signing up some websites featuring on foss, instead of daily usage.
Which means you can send message there, but I would not even read it before deleting all unrecognized emails.

It requires some effort to find the correct smtp and pop/imap configuration, qq and gmail both support that, but well, not by default.
